Hey, I’m Reilly Kahat—Founder & Lead Adventurer at Pet Fit
Pet Fit has been a long time in the making… since I was a kid, actually!
I was born and raised in Maryland, and have lived in Ellicott City since I was just 4 years old. I grew up on our family farmette, where I learned at a very young age how to properly care for animals, including horses, chickens, and goats. I formed a strong connection with these animals and learned the responsibility and attention required to care for them.
We had an indoor cat growing up, too, but for as long as I can remember, I was always hung up on adopting a dog. I even created PowerPoint presentations trying to make my case. Then finally, on the last day of 5th grade, my parents said we could adopt a puppy. I chose a Maltese, and named him Fender.
Finding myself
in Colorado
After high school, I moved to Colorado for a few years in pursuit of an Eco/Bio degree. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do for a living, but I knew I wanted to do something positive for society. I eventually realized I didn't love spending my days in the lab, and started exploring other areas, like business.
I had no idea what I wanted to do at that point, but I did know how much I loved spending time exploring the Rocky Mountains with my girlfriend's dog, Patches.
Taking my sense of adventure
back to Ellicott City
I eventually moved back to Ellicott City in 2017 (unfortunately without Patches), and quickly found myself missing our hiking adventures. I soon adopted my very own puppy, Murphy, from Ellicott City's local rescue, Small Miracles.
As a new (permanent) Dog Dad, my next task was to find someone trustworthy, experienced, and properly trained to help watch Murphy. I tried using a few well-known pet care apps, but didn't have the greatest experiences. I then turned to a local dog-walking company that provided a more personal, professional touch. This company was great, and I eventually became employed with them as a dog-walker to make extra money doing something meaningful. However, after only one short year helping that business grow, the owner decided to pursue another career.
Pet Fit was born from my love for the industry & the need for a reputable dog-walking company in Ellicott City
After being both a dog-walking client and a dog walker, I quickly realized how I could provide the other pet parents in Ellicott City, MD with a certified, properly trained, and professionally run dog-walking company.
Not only that, but a company with the absolute best customer experience possible, and most importantly, a group of trustworthy professionals who value the health, well-being, and adventurous side of your dog just as much as you do.

Natalie Ko, Dog Walker
After working IT in her family’s business for many years, Natalie joined the Pet Fit team in search of more exciting, fulfilling work. She has always had a deep passion for animals, and enjoyed part-time dog walking jobs as an independent contractor before becoming a Pet Fit employee. She has quickly excelled and is an incredibly attentive, compassionate, and patient professional dog walker.
Mark Kressley, Dog Walker
Mark is a father, husband, and dog dad to Zuzu (Pictured). He left his career to become the full time caregiver for his mother. Later, he joined the Pet Fit team part-time while continuing to care for his mom. Mark’s kindness and nurturing energy goes a long way as a professional dog walker. He has a brilliant way with all of the dogs he cares for, and always makes sure their walks are the best part of their day.
Christina Solla, Dog Walker
With a lifelong passion for animals and a personal journey with her beloved tripod dog, Ozzy, Christina is a cherished walker in our pet care family. Her experience as a vet tech has given her a profound understanding of canine health and well-being, skills she uses daily on her walks. Balancing her work with studies in Health and Information Technology, her warm and caring nature shines through as she provides exceptional care to every dog she walks.
Yungee Kim, Dog Walker
Yungee balances her time between being a assistant at a chiropractor's office and a devoted dog walker. She cares for the chiropractor’s office dogs, whom she attends to with the same dedication and love as she does with our clients' pets. Known for her attention to detail and exemplary communication skills, Yungee takes great pride in both her roles. Her ability to consistently brighten the days of the dogs she walks is a testament to her passion and commitment, making her an invaluable asset to the Pet Fit team.
Andy Passman, Dog Walker
After a long career in finance, Andy found a new calling on the Pet Fit team. His transition was driven by his love for dogs and a desire for a more flexible, fulfilling role. He fondly remembers his loyal German Shepherd and a Black Lab, whose memories inspired him to work in pet care. He quickly adapted to his new work, bringing a serene and steady presence that greatly benefits the dogs. His ability to make every dog feel confident and content is a testament to his love for animals and his innate understanding of their needs.
Eric Schell, Dog Walker
Eric is a retired USAF Security Forces member and a devoted father. He brings a wealth of experience and a big heart to his role as a dog walker. Having worked professionally with military working dogs for over twenty years and always having dogs as part of his family, his expertise and passion for pets are unparalleled. Eric’s kind-hearted personality, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail, allows him to provide the utmost care and patience in his work. His positive attitude and commitment to excellence make him a highly valued and respected member of our team.
