What are your hours?

Pet Fit offers multiple dog walking arrival windows between 8:00am and 5:00pm, 7 Days a week.

What time will you arrive?

One of our walkers will be at your home within the selected arrival window. When booking, choose the ideal time for your dog, and the arrival window it falls into is automatically selected.

We always do our best to aim for the preferred time, however, we guarantee arrival within the selected window.

Where are your service areas?

Pet Fit services most of 21042, 21043, 21044, 21045, 21163, and 21104.

What about holidays?

We are closed on Christmas Day, and Thanksgiving Day. We are open on all other holidays.

What If the weather is bad?

Pet Fit operates in all weather conditions, and will only cancel if it is unsafe for our walkers to drive, or your dog to be outside.

If your dog is not comfortable walking in inclement weather, after a bathroom break your walker will spend the remainder of the time engaging with your dog indoors.

Who is my walker?

We invest in our team to make sure our business has the greatest positive impact on our community. All employees are highly trained, and are insured by Pet Sitters Associates.

What about keys?

Pet fit utilizes electronic door codes, garage codes, or lock boxes. We can sell you a lock box for $30.00, or you can provide your own. In some situations we require one backup key to be locked in our office safe for emergencies.

Do you do pack walks?

Pet Fit currently provides private bathroom breaks and walks. If you have multiple dogs that live together we will walk them together.

Adventure hikes will be available soon for social, energetic dogs. Hikes will be groups of up to four dogs with similar temperaments.

How do I book a meet and greet?

Meet and greets can be booked from the book now page on this website.

How do I book a walk?

You can book an additional walk from the Book Now page on this website or the PocketSuite phone application.

How far in advance do we need to book?

Recurring members are automatically saved on the schedule. Additional visits must be booked by 5:00pm the day prior to the scheduled service.

What is the cancelation policy?

You must cancel by 5pm the day before the scheduled service to receive a credit. Walks canceled later than 5:00pm the day before, will not be credited or refunded.

What kinds of pets do you care for?

Pet Fit focuses specifically on dogs, but will happily add cat or small animal care to an existing dog walking membership plan.

Is there an extra dog fee?

For more than one dog, a $5.00 fee per dog will be added.

Do you need vet records?

Yes, all vaccination records must be provided before the first scheduled service.

Do you board animals?

Pet Fit offers dog breaks, walks, and hikes only.

Will you stay in my home overnight?

We do not offer overnight, in-home, pet sitting.

Are you insured?

Yes, Pet Fit LLC is both insured and bonded by Pet Sitters Associates. All employees are added to the policy, and fully covered.

Do you have a backup?

We have a team of walkers available as backups in case of emergency.

What happens in case of an emergency?

If a walker is unable to it to complete a scheduled service, one of our other team members will take their place. If an animal is sick, or injured, your walker will transport him/her to your provided veterinary care provider, or a local emergency clinic.

How do we pay?

You pay online, or inside the PocketSuite mobile app.

When do we pay?

For recurring membership, invoices will be sent on the 25th of each month. Recurring invoices include all services scheduled the following month, and are due before the 1st. Invoices paid after the 1st will be charged a $5.00/day late fee.

Additional services added mid-month will be invoiced after booking, and are due the day before the first scheduled walk. Additional services are not confirmed until the invoice has been paid.

Do I have to pay through the website or app?

Yes, we do not accept cash, check, or ACH payment. Only credit/debit cards are accepted.

Is it safe to pay online?

Yes, all payments are powered by Stripe. Stripe has been certified to PCI service provider level 1.

Do you train dogs?

Our walkers will stay consistent with the commands and techniques you are already teaching your dog.

Walkers know how to use basic obedience, and leash training commands.

My dog pulls hard on the leash, is that a problem?

Pet Fit employees are trained to handle dogs of all energy levels. In some cases we will require you to purchase a Freedom No Pull Harness.

Will you feed them and refill water?

Yes, we will take care of all food/water and treat arrangements.

What kinds of treats do you use?

Pet Fit uses only premium, whole ingredient treats. If your dog has any allergies please let us know.
